Karen, I hope you held onto that dollhouse. I'm sure it will increase in value once the economy recovers. :)

  4. I've blocked out most of my childhood memories of Christmas for reasons I'd prefer to not disclose, so I don't remember any specific presents I received. But I do like spending time with my family at holiday dinners, so I guess time spent with family is the best present I receive during the holidays. :)

  42. To me Christmas (and any holiday) is about spending time with family and friends. Santa has always been very good to me.

One memory is that we were moving from Californina to New Jersey and my brother wanted a Big Wheel in the worst way and even though we were living in a very small house with my grandmother while looking for a new home, Sant made sure my brother got one. I can still see him driving around in circles in the kitchen with the 4 of us looking on and I can see that ear to ear grin. The Big Wheel was almost as big as the kitchen!

  43. My parents told me that they didn't have the money to purchase me a new figure skating outfit, and that I would unfortunately not be getting one for Christmas. When I opened my presents on Christmas day and found that Santa had brought me not one dress but two, I was the happiest girl in the world.
